Friday Five- a regular- weekly series highlighting 5 (sometimes more 😉 articles, sales, ideas, etc. that I found helpful or interesting this week. I love love love seeing what others find on the big world wide web- so I thought I’d share my favorites for the week. Enjoy!

This week was ROUGH! Little man had his first real and big cold. I was completely torn apart with fear and helplessness. I hate being sick, but I would be sick every day if it meant I could keep my son from all illnesses. All things considered, I think we handled it really well and are finally on the other side. Without question, I will be spending my weekend scrubbing every inch of my house to keep away the germs. And if you walk by my house this weekend- yes that is Thieves essential oil you smell- I am diffusing by the gallon

1.I have been exploring and researching with CBD over the past two weeks. I finally jumped in and tried the product after what felt like months of research. 2.My days have become exhausting. With working in the morning and having my afternoons with Hudson, I have little time for a break. I LOVE that I have this ability to do both, but I can see burnout in my future. A major reason for this burn out, is feeling like I constantly have to have an activity for Hudson to play and learn and it worries me to look towards the future. This article is fantastic and on point- discussing how we can let children be bored. Boredom leads to creativity which leads to learning which leads- well to all sorts of great things!

4. I have a new best friend. She just doesn’t know it. 😉 But for real- I have been binge watching the content from Jordan Page at Funcheaporfree. I completely redid my laundry system from this video– you should check it out- because it it works for a family of 8- then I know it will work for a family of 3! Did you know you should sort your clothes by texture- heavy and light, instead of colors. This lets your clothes get cleaner and last longer. Mic. Drop.

5.Did you know there is a perfect avocado? Or at least the perfect shaped avocado? Research shows the smaller the pit- the more the avocado. You want to look for the long and skinny shapes to find the smaller pits and more avocado. Your’e welcome.
