1.Did you catch the large moon this week? Apparently, there are 3 supermoons this winter and the second one appeared this past Tuesday. Ironically this supermoon is linked to cold weather storms (did you have a snow storm this week on the East Coast- yep science is pretty cool). Other than the supermoon being an explanation for weather conditions, the supermoon might have an impact on our emotions. If you buy into astrology, you should know that this supermoon could bring more clarity to our emotions and thoughts this winter, so pay close attention to how you are feeling and see if you notice any changes. I am not sure if I buy into any of it, but it certainly would explain the emotional rollercoaster I have been on the past few weeks!

2. Rainy Day Activities are hard to come by when it has been raining FOREVER! We aren’t into museums or organized play dates yet, so when it rains, we are stuck inside. This article by REAL SIMPLE has some great ideas of things to do at home when the rain has you stuck inside. I will be doing #2 bubble bath and #10 host a “tea party” this weekend with my crew. What do you do when it is rainy?

4. Today is national margarita day! We are celebrating by mixing up this classic marg recipe. Did you know that if you choose the right ingredients, a margarita could be a decent drink choice if you are making conscious food choices!

5. Are you adding probiotics to your diet? You should probably focus more on adding prebiotics to your diet to help prepare your gut to absorb more probiotics. This article lists lots of tasty prebiotic foods. My favorites should be no surprise: dark chocolate and rolled oats.
