Hello friends! It has officially been 428 days since I shared life on this small corner of the web. If you follow me on Instagram, you know A LOT has happened in the last year. In fact, the last post on this blog was just a few weeks after finding out we were expecting our first child! It is safe to say the blog took a back seat after the big news, but after a lot of soul searching and prioritizing, I want to start the conversation again. I want to make this place a home for celebrations, discussion, and education. Over the next few months, I will start posting on a regular schedule – focusing on wellness, family, and motherhood. You can expect to see a lot more realness as I share life experiences as a new mom in this crazy world. I do not claim to be an expert or have it all figured out, but I do hope to share insightful conversations to, at the very least, entertain! I am excited to be back and I hope you enjoy reading!

As a welcome back from a LONG hiatus, let’s recap on what has happened over the past 428 days:

We found out we were expecting our first son! We were so excited to be blessed with this pregnancy.

I shared my whole pregnancy and all the CRAZY experiences that come along with carrying a tiny human in your belly. You should check out my story highlights for much needed entertainment.

I completed my Masters in Public Administration and walked across the stage with Baby Tang. We joke that he is the smartest kid in the room – he has his MPA after all.

I gained a bazillion lbs. (ok…maybe just under 50) and grew the biggest belly in the world (not sure this is an exaggeration). (Also- I secretly loved every second- even when the PUPPS was awful and I was dying in the summer heat- it was all so very worth it)

Anthony was recognized as part of the Winston<40 Leadership Awards. He’s one impressive man.

07.24.18 – The day an 8.7 lb., 23 in. baby arrived and changed our lives forever.

We saw two of our favorite humans marry their favorite humans. Also, lots of travel to see all of these beautiful people.

We celebrated all the firsts and have enjoyed everyday with our now 6 month old!!

A lot has changed and at the same time, a lot has stayed the same. As I return to my corner of the internet, I will shift focus with my content. To the best of my ability, I will keep a consistent posting schedule focusing on wellness, family, and motherhood. I want this to be a place were we open up about the hard stuff, cheer the good moments, and grow as a family of moms and friends.
